What is Sokoon?

 

Sokoon is the Arabic word for stillness, tranquility and calm... 

At Sokoon, our goal is to help you listen to your inner voice, decode the language of the cosmos and live in harmony with the messages that it sends to you, through sacred music and wellness retreats.


Non-profits and organizations interested in culturally sensitive wellness services are welcome to check our capacity building and grant writing packages.

We help you quiet the external noise so you can listen to the ocean within. Spiritual Chanting, Nature Talks, Guided Meditation and Capacity Building for non-profits are some of our tools/services.

Past Programs

A 3-days Ocean retreat organized by Sokoon LLC, and REDA, Inc. in the middle of the redwoods and by the ocean. Campers enjoyed sessions of guided meditation, connected with the ocean and the sky, experienced forest bathing, hiked, ran volleyball tournaments and built meaningful connections with one another. 

Nature Talks Videos - Planets Alignment

How many languages do you speak? Is nature one of them? Join in us in the journey to understand nature's language and read its messages! This series is part of an Outdoor Equity Program operated by REDA, Inc, (a Sacramento Refugee non-profit in Sacramento, CA) and funded by the CA State Department of Parks and Recreation.
